Cups and Jiggers

So after our dinner at Nung Ru Thai, we agreed to have a coffee at Cups and Jiggers. It's also a new
restaurant here in Batangas City. They serve cakes, pasta, sandwiches, some appetizers and also beer :)
Luckily, that night they had a band playing. As far as I can remember, their band schedules are Wednesday,
Friday and Saturday.

And after a week, we came back and tried some of their pasta. We ordered spicy chicken and seafood marinara. Also we tried their tuna sandwich and coffee shake. Between the two pasta, I prefer the seafood pasta because the spicy chicken have peanuts in it (something like the charlie chan chicken pasta of yellow cab). There are lots of food to try, and so we shall try it some other time ;)

Nung Ru Thai

The first Thai restaurant in Batangas that I know of, Nung Ru Thai. So my bebe and I decided to give
it a try. It was my birthday, so we invited our friends Ervin and Brian to join us.

We are greeted by a cheerful lady, which we think is the owner of the restaurant. The place looks
very clean, with touch of some 'thai' in it. There are some pictures hanging on the wall and some golden
decors. So immediately, we asked for the menu. There are lots of food in the list, but we still go with
the rice meal and decided to try the curry-based next time.

Forgot the name of some of the foods we ordered, but here are some pictures :)

This is one of their appetizers, they called it spring rolls

pad thai

This could have been good for 4 person :)

Dr. Pepper Squid if im not mistaken

Casa Marikit

My girlfriend and I are looking for a place where we can dine and celebrate our 2nd Year Anniversary. And then she remembered that she once saw an Italian Restaurant, Casa Marikit, at Banay-Banay Concepcion, Lipa City. So we've decided to give it a try.

The place is so quite and peaceful when we arrived. There are only a couple at that moment. We love the classy atmosphere, with some classic music playing at the background.

There really are lots of choices, we really can't decide hehe. But since we just came from a Christening Party, and we ate lots of meat, we decided to opt for a seafood menu.

I dont know what it's called but it taste good :)

Fettucini Marinara in White Sauce.

It's the first time we ordered a Marinara in white sauce, so we're excited to taste it. Infairness, the seafood can be tasted in the sauce. They would say that this would be good for 1-2 person, but I think its just for solo.

Quattro Formaggi
Then our pizza arrived. It is a four cheese, sliced into 8. It's crust is thin. And nothing to expect but cheese.

Some pictures taken at Casa Marikit :

Luca's Cucina Italia - Talipanan

Everytime we visit Puerto Galera, we make it a point to visit Luca's restaurant. Located at  the very end of Talipanan's beach. Even when we are lodging at White Beach, it is the first place that we visit. One of our all-time favorite is his Pasta Puttanesca(a must try)

Luca's Place
