Britz Batangas City

Britz is one of the newest restaurant/event center here in Batangas City. Located just in front of Holy Trinity Church in Pallocan. At first we were hesitant because it looks classy. But we heard from an officemate, that it is not that pricey after all. We gave it a try. We were the only customer that afternoon, but still the attendant is quite generous turning on all the aircon hehe, lucky us. Still my impression is that the food will be pricey, until we get a hold of the menu. Instantly, my bebe looked at me and smile. I know already what it means. Then i checked the menu, and just smiled back at her. We orderd pineapple juice for both of us. Also Penne Pesto, Pasta Bolognese and  Ham & Cheese sandwich.

I think someone is already hungy..

The place is nice, and looks classy.

I think the chef just got too generous on putting the sauce on the penne. The pesto got flooded with sauce. Also the pesto is too oily, I think its olive oil. For us, we thought that a little amount will suffice for a pesto.

On the other hand, their pasta bolognese were overwhelming with meat. Not that I don't want meat,in fact I really like meat. But in their bolognese,I think it was too much. Thanks God, it has a touch of soury flavor which gives a different taste to the pasta.

The ham & cheese, no complaint at all, it has a ham and cheese inside. But it will be better if the sandwich were french toast :)

Big Mike's Grill House

A newly opened grill house in Batangas City, located at Pallocan West, in front of Ford Batangas. Wonder, what's in their menu.

This is one of their drinks, four season.

Caesar salad. Nothing extra-ordinary. Its just plain salad

Their fettucine taste fine. Fettucine with carbonara sauce. I think the chef was just to generous on the sauce hehe. It makes it salty.

Grilled squid, with ground meat and cheese inside. I like its plain taste. I think it will be good as pulutan, but also in rice.But since we're on diet, we decided not to.

At last!! My very first taste of Baileys. I wouldn't mind the cost per shot, P88.00

And lucky us, they have a pre-grill promo. :)

Habibi's Restaurant

Habibi's Restaurant is located at Brgy. Ermita, Balayan Batangas. This is just a simple and plain type of restaurant. Just your typical place to eat, but what you eat here is the one that is different. Habibi is well-known for its shawarma. But in their restaurant, they serve, lamb, biryani, kebab and even ox's brain. They also have some tapsilog for breakfast maybe. Baked macaroni and spaghetti are also served. Here are some of the foods we ate :)

This is their chicken biryani. I like its simple fried rice and whats stuffed inside it :)

This one is a winner!! It is their ox's brain. It looks like a typical sisig, but it is kinda mushy, yet, its tasty
